Graphics Tablets

I am considering acquiring a graphics tablet for photo editing work and wonder if anyone has experience of any of the currently available models. From on-line research, I tend to favour the Trust Slimline TB-7300 which is designed to work well in wide screen format and, at around £100, is just inside my financial limit.

You'll undoubtedly already know that Wacom are regarded as probably the best available, but they tend to be quite expensive, so that one you've mentioned there would be a good alternative

It's available for quite a bit under £100 though - i.e. it's 'just' £83.38 - including FREE recorded delivery, from Tablet World

Thanks Fireblade. I had simply taken a price from the local PCWorld but, of course, there are better places to buy (Tablet World noted) and I will certainly shop around once I decide. In the meantime, I am hoping for comment on experience of use to help me make up my mind.
Cheers

Re:Graphics Tablets

I found this review on the (supposedly) top ten graphics tablets. Seems like everyone is pretty stuck on the Wacom brand (probably for good reason), so I was mostly just wondering if anyone knew of any reason *not* to get one of the cheaper brands listed here. As mentioned before, money is an issue for me, so I am certainly considering some cheaper options, but I just want to make sure and find out if there is any burdensome, plagueing horror about the "off brands", other than just brand preference in general.

Welcome to the forums William

There's nothing at all wrong with opting for a budget graphics tablet - if that's all you can afford - and need.
The more expensive models - which usually offer more/better features, are aimed primarily at those who need a tablet for more serious/professional work.
As you may already have noted... that website I've linked to above also offer a number of decent budget Trust models, which I'm sure would be perfectly adequate for most of us
