Help - Lost Address Bar (solved)

I have lost my address bar and can't seem to find it.

When I go to View and then Toolbars the address bar is already checked.

I have unchecked and checked this, nothing happens. I have also unlock the toolbars to see if it was hiding behind the standard buttons but it's not there.

Can anyone help?

OK, make sure lock toolbars isnt selected, put your pointer to one of the connecting lines where the address bar should be, and click and drag down, address bar should appear.

Vixs although the address bar will be ticked - take the tick out and set it again to see if this corrects the bar.

Lost Address Bar - Internet Explorer

  1. Click Start
  2. From the Start menu click Run
  3. In the Run dialogue box type: regsvr32 /i browseui.dll and press OK
  4. You should get an info pop-up informing you that DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in browseui.dll succeeded
  5. Reboot your PC

HTH

regsvr32 /i browseui.dll --**note the space after regsvr32**
